Keeping the HOPE Alive: a Fundraising Party
Date and time

It’s the end of an era – Obama’s final night in office is on January 19th. We may not know what the future will bring – but we can know that we are taking action!
Now is the time to rise up and push back – and nothing feels better than joining together with friends to make a difference. Let’s show the world that we are not going to sit calmly while the things that make America great are dismantled.
So, to keep the HOPE of Obama’s presidency alive, and to counteract the disasters to come…I invite you to party with me!

Patriotically yours,
Karin T (and Nick and Joey)
PS: Why Union of Concerned Scientists? It was so hard to choose between so many values that are under attack by a Trump presidency. However, Trump’s pick of a climate-change denier to lead the EPA sealed the deal for us! There is too much that I appreciate about UCS to fit into a quick e-mail, but they are really at the forefront when it comes to advocacy for our planet’s most urgent problems (which suddenly became more urgent on November 8th).
